about

The All Stars Mob is Moswan The General and A.C. The Program Director aka El Choppo and anything they do together, working with their favorite MC's from around the world ...

This album is the debut LP production for Moswan The General.

Co-produced, A&R'ed, recorded, engineered, mixed, mastered, scratches and cuts by El Choppo (for all you naysayers, game players and lane changers) ...

Made with love for the art of raising the bar, and getting better with time/age ...

Made with love for the art of the full album without any skip-track filler ...

1. Call Me Now (For You MF) ft. Choize Areef - 02:49
AC: One of my fav joints on the LP, cuz the beat sounds very unique compared to other Mowan productions, and I love the filthy/nasty/dirty/raw style beats ... Choize is one of our fav MC's to work with, this is one of many examples why ... Back1 with the assist on the Ms.Cleo sample...
MTG: Choize Areef laces the slower melody-driven beat of the album. The magic behind this one is spontaneous and in-the-moment step for step. Enjoy ...

2. Blast ft. Zig ESP of Blak Forest - 01:58
AC: Since the start of HipHopPhilosophy.com, the Blak Forest family is down with us! Makin good-new sht is a must! In 2019, we're number one-one-one-one-one!
MTG: Zig ESP doesn’t let up a bit on all those who are fakin the funk. One my personal favorite songs on the album, BTW. Here you have El Choppo on the scratches showing you his incredible get down too. Definitely one to check for on the album ...

3. Cameras Go Click ft. Chuck Freeze and Waterbed Kev - 01:57
AC: You'll find the last 3 songs ever made by our big brother Chuck Freeze of the Jazzy 5 MC's on this album ... featuring the most legendary, the original Mr.Freeze and Waterbed Kev of The Fantastic Romantic 5 on this album is beyond a dream come true ...
MTG: The lyricism displayed on this song can be used as a how-to-spit blueprint. Good-new-music production style, and great engineering from El Choppo are present on this song, like no other in my opinion ...

4. Sheeple (Be Yourself) ft. Marv Radio and L.Scatter - 02:19
AC: When Marv visited LA from Europe lookin to make some good-new-music, Jah Logic sent him to me, and this happened ... Thanks to L.Scatter for finishing the joint with us! ... To Dres of Black Sheep, one of the best to ever do this, for being such a great big brother and inspiration ...
MTG: One of my personal favorite beats on the album. Thank you L.Scatter for coming through, and Marv Radio from across the pond for blessing the joint as well ...

5. Love Turns To Hate ft Insight and Jess The Facts - 01:40
AC: Insight been down with #HipHopPhilosophy since day 1, and blessing us with this verse for this album is one of the greatest honors of our recording history ... We had to wait for Jess to get out to complete the joint, we could not do an ASM album without Jess on it! ... This is the two most productive, consistent MC's with the highest batting averages in HipHop since the 90's on the same track!
MTG: Two of today's top notch MC's together (both born in Boston), with El Choppo making the magic happen yet once again ... penmanship at its finest on this song.

6. Go For Yours ft Chuck Freeze and Waterbed Kev - 03:30
AC: This song reminds me of the L.O.N.S. joint Bass Is Loaded, catch my drift? To our big brother Chuck in the afterlife, we dedicate this album to you most of all! Thank you for being the greatest example and personification ever of my motto "I never met an OG who acts like he don't know me!" ... and quite a few of my other mottos too ...
MTG: Can’t say enough about the MC's Chuck Freeze and Waterbed Kev on this song. One of those production mashups defining good-new-music today ...

7. The Thrill ft. Inkrezin - 02:08
AC: Another fav beat of mine on the album, and no I cannot pick a #1 fav ....
MTG: One of my oldest productions making noise on the album. This “oldie but goodie to me” quickly became a favorite of my good-new-music-keen-ear having brutha El Choppo. Inkrezin does his thing coming correct, as expected of any MC affiliate on an ASM project.

8. Explosions ft. Choize Areef, EMS and Sonny Glisten - 02:59
AC: Shoutout to kLTz for sending me his LL single for the cuts, cuz my LP came up missing! WTF!
MTG: Once we had EMS and Choize, then we couldn’t leave Sonny Glisten off this heater ... one of the first All Stars Mob tracks picked personally by El Choppo. Rapid fire lyrics throughout this masterpiece ...

9. Wack Beats ft. Choize Areef and Kunoichi - 03:06
AC: Choize makes every song he jumps on better ... we wish he would come down to Earth and make a whole album with us! ... And Kunoichi, we are praying to make many albums with you, the queen MC of the #HipHopPhilosophy family ...
MTG: Kunoichi and Choize Areef brought their cadence, delivery, and writing skill perfectly, making this song a definite standout track of the album IMO ...

10. Uptown ft. Chuck Freeze and Waterbed Kev - 03:59
AC: This album contains 3 songs with 2 of The Creators of this culture? More than pioneers! True fathers of this culture on our album? If I am dreaming please don't wake me up!
MTG: The great big-brother duo of Chuck Freeze and Waterbed Kev coming through for the 3rd time on the album with their extra-exceptional penmanship and technique. Experimenting with new technique production methods here ...

11. Cause Some Static ft. Monstroe, Eso Tre and L.Scatter - 03:33
AC: Thanks to Monstroe for orchestrating this lyrical festival ... and thanks to Eso Tre of Substance Abuse & L.Scatter for your most appreciated & distinguished contributions ...
MTG: IMO, one of my better productions that called for an ill line up of MC's. I love hearing Monstroe on this track, Eso Tre brought an absolute A1 verse here, L.Scatter running anchor, completing this song! ...

12. It Ain't Safe No More ft. Choize Areef, Devi Wonder and Prodak - 03:08
AC: On this one we have 3 BRL All Stars together, on one of the best beats on the album IMO ... each one of these MC's are distinctively different and unique, with great potential to make classic albums ... All of these songs happened without tryin and without any planning, rehearsals, etc. The whole album just evolved naturally like it was meant to be ...
MTG: Devi Wonder and Prodak display greatness over this “not-so (my usual) normal but (still) dope” production approach ... while Choize knew exactly what to do here (as usual).

13. A.S. Mobbin ft. Sonny Glisten, Choize Areef and Moswan The General - 02:14
AC: Here we have Sonny, Choize and Moswan in the studio together for the first time ever, inspiring each other with that All Stars aura shining bright on this one ... Moswan made this beat on my MPC1000 while he was in town to finish this album ...
MTG: Everyone came through and killed it on this one. Sonny Glisten sets the pace and doesn’t look back, El Choppo creates magic once again on this song ...

14. M.O.E. ft. Moswan The General and A.C. The P.D. - 02:27
AC: This is the last song we made for this album ... appropriately we both felt like gettin on this beat here ... neither one of us are scared of this tempo ...
MTG: El Choppo and myself on the mic destroying the idea that big budgets and clean edits win out over hardcore dope sounding good-new-music. A nothing fancy but difficult production style is found on this joint ...

15. If The Shoe Fits ft. A.C. The P.D. - 01:40
AC: The rhymes say it all loud and clear ... No? I had to add the 808 on this beat here ...
MTG: The title track with El Choppo in rare form on the mic letting the suckas have it ... The classic b-boy-boogie paced production makes this one to enjoy for me ...

16. On Center Stage ft. Gee Rock - 2:05
AC: We love Gee Rock!
MTG: All hail our big brother pioneer from Jersey who never fell off ...

AC The PD's special thanks: Yo Sike and Justin, you named the group and motivated us to live up to it! And Moswan, most of all for trusting me to A&R and co-produce your first album! Another one of the greatest HipHop honors in my life! The world will awaken some day to your great contributions to the culture and the world. Extra special thanks to all the MC's we are blessed to have help us start this record label from the bottom, and the only MC's who can call me their DJ, Jess The Facts and Kunoichi and Moswan The General! ... #ThirdDegreeBurns #DJThirdrail #DJkuts #OlDirtyBackster #LABreakers #RealDjsCrew #LoveH8sMoney #WednesdaysFinest #RecordsAreForever #MarkersGarvey #ForceOneNetwork #RecordsOnTheShelf #BCJHealthAndFitness #HipHopHeadhunters #NickRocha #NorthCityRockers #50mmlosangeles #BikeWitMe #JulesMrsic #BeaucoupFuego #DOC #ArkivesLAC #Kenos #ShucksOne #ArtWarsLA
